My shoe size is 8. 5, and these boots are SMALL. Listen to the reviews. I ordered size 10 and I'm genuinely surprised by how it's still somehow tight even though that's two whole sizes up. It's not so tight that it's super painful, but it fits too snug and my toes press together and it's just rather uncomfortable, and the boot is kinda stiff (brand new at least). It seems that the tip of the boot is kinda narrower than the rest of it. Anyways, I have actual painful shoes so I can deal with this, but it's still super annoying because I wanted a perfect fit and it's still too tight. Just don't wear thick socks until you've broken them in because it might make your foot cramp with the pressure and limited flexibility (happened to me with other boots); I would recommend knitted leg warmers if you want a thick sock look. HOWEVER, THIS IS IMPORTANT, if you're gonna buy this sized up, keep in mind that the outside of the boot is still gonna look BIG. For an 8. 5 shoe size person, size 10 is a good compromise to be cute and wearable while not making me look like I have clown feet. Any bigger and I think it'd look super weird. I haven't seen anyone else mention that but maybe I'm wrong! Anyway, over time, I believe the fluff inside may flatten and it'll be easier to wear-but don't take my word for it! Just a consideration I'm throwing out there. They're still super cute boots and accurate to the pictures, and the laces are removable of course! Just be careful about sizes! Good luck choosing! :)
