These shorts have zero lift in the rear, so for me it's like having toothpicks (my legs) holding up two saggy water balloons (my rear), and I wouldn't call my but frumpy in the least but in these it looks a little bit that way. I am 5'5" tall 129lbs, slim hips, meaty butt, a little extra chub from summer margaritas, lol! I ordered a size small and they fit but I wish they were tighter. If you're usually a size 3-5 these will fit you with extra room if you pull at them. If you're any smaller than a 3, don't waste your money, these will be too big. There is no tummy support but they are high waisted. These feel good on however, they are comfortable, and the front looks super cute.
