This dress runs really small but it is very beautiful. I usually wear a size M and I found when it was out of stock and there was only S left. So I tried my luck and this could not go down my hips. the inner lining is stretchy but the velvet on top has completely no stretch. It is a very beautiful dress, and I think I will just wait for it to get back in stock so that I can purchase a bigger size. I think I will just give away this one as a gift
