these are definitely brown not purple .. no need to size up I got an XL and it was roomy in the waist but I will say the legs are still very fitted so I think w the L my legs would be tight I’m 5’8” 36-30-48 usually 11 in FN pants

First off, the color is not as seen on the website, it's more purple than it is brown and they have absolutely no pockets that zipper detail on the thighs are just for style, they have that dip at the back waistline if you have a rounder rump and have a shorter inseam. I must say that they are not my favorite but because I got them on BOGO I'll just gift them rather then loosing money on the return process. I'm a US size 16p pants 5'3, 40in waistline 48in hips.
