My true dress size is 14. The reviews stated to size down. I originally bought a 2X because bandage dresses from Fashionnova tend to be too snug in the stomach area. The 2X was extremely wide in the hip area, it was made awkwardly. It fit two sizes too big. This dress cannot be altered because of the black contrast design. I returned the dress and order an XL, another mistake too tight. The XL runs small. I have wasted money with shipping to and from, about the cost of the dress! The 1X is out of stock and honestly I am afraid to order if it comes back in stock.
