I purchased up a size to a 3x because of my DDD'S, I'm 5'3 and the length is perfect, it sits right at the top of my knees and fits over the girls perfectly. It's an A-Line dress so it flares out a bit more below the waistline and flows over my mom pouch nicely because I sized up. I do believe it's true to size because I have a little more weight in my boobs, waistline and bum and I believe my regular size would have fit, but it would have been more snug in those areas so if your shapely and fit, get your regular size. the material is thick but nice quality. My stats are 48-40-49 198lb 5'3 198lb. This is beautifully made and worth the purchase, great for Dinner, work, parties and church.

I’m normally a xl, but due to the midsection I size up to a 1x for comfort, but with me looking at the pic and what look I was going for I sized up to a 3x and I’m happy I did, I didn’t want it short and I wanted to be able to wear a white button up underneath the dress, but overall, nice dress
