The dress have no stretch

This is my bday dress so I read every review and after my first order I'm wondering if these reviewers realized there is a zipper. Yes there's little stretch but I'd say it runs pretty true to size. The "size up" reviews got me nervous so I ordered an XL and 1X. They were way too big. I returned and reordered a medium and it fits perfectly. If you're nervous about it being tight then maybe size up but I think it is more true to size than not. So glad the new order fits! It's a beautiful dress.
