My size is usually a M, I wear 36D, 145 pounds. This is a perfect little black dress for when you have nothing else to wear, this is the perfect dress to wear. I do consider this to be a short dress but not that short that it won't cover my bottom. The clear straps where not my favorite but it's something I can deal with considering the price and how well it fits. I also feel that it runs just a tad bit small so if you are someone who doesn't like your clothes too tight, I suggest sizing up one size. For those that like to complain about it being "cheap" its not like you are paying a lot so not sure what you are expecting when paying not even $20... just my opinion
