I am 5'3 127-129 lbs depending on the day of the week lol. I can wear a 1 or 3 in jeans depending on the on the material. I ordered both sizes. The 1 fit but was a little snug. The 3 fit perfect so for me i would say because the material is not very stretchy but still breathable, I would stick to my regular size or size up. one because the waist was a bit tight to pull up but once it was up it fit fine. High waisted, really cute on. hope this helps.

Best to size up at least one or two sizes in curve sizes
