Waist too big

im usually a small and tbh i been treading medium territory lately so i was a lil nervous bout ordering the small. but anyways when it came the shorts was actually sooo cute but the waist is wayyy too big. like crazy big i could fit a 2 liter in the gap. even when i put a belt on it it look weird. smh size down for sure
