I got XL because a similar dress Top Trend Ruched Maxi was also ordered but in 1x and the mesh was too big so I figured they were similar and if I needed to size down one in that one. When I got my package I always get excited because fashionnova always gets it right, but this time I was slightly disappointed. I opened this particular order ( ordered multiple) and instantly noticed a loud fragrant smell, did not smell bad it just was overpowering. Then upon more inspection I notice that there was some deodorant stains by the armpit area. Someone wore this then returned it before my purchase. I really was disappointed and wanted to wear this out and had no backup outfit so I decided to throw it in the wash. Luckily it came right out and the smell was gone. I tried on the dress and fell in love! I am glad that I didn’t just return it and potentially wouldn’t be able to reorder because now all sizes are gone. On a cold Atlanta night, I paired this with shiny black laced combat heel booties and a long black fleece trench coat and a cute lil Marc Jacob’s bag.
