Material was pretty thick and comfortable. The color was a little darker in person. I should have sized down to an XS as I felt it ran a tad big and has some stretch to it. (I'm 4'8 and 106 lbs and typically wear a Small). Not a bad looking dress, just not for me. The shoulder pads looked a bit awkward on my body type (I may be too petite for this look). Unfortunately, they were not removable. Will be giving it to my BFF who is in between a Small and Medium in dress sizes.
