Love the dress but runs small

I got the Ivory version and it was kinda cute. It takes a lot of work to get both layers to sit right. once I got it straight the slip wants to hang out the bottom, not like the pic. Curvy girls -It is incredibly short and fitted but definitely stretchy. I might keep it and just use the top layer alone might make for a cute beach dress.
