I'm 5"8, 162lbs. I purchased a medium. It fits but it's not skin tight. I think I could have sized down and gotten a small but the medium fits. It's not loose as it hugs the body. It's so hot out that I'm happy with the medium. It does smell like ink. The smell is so strong. I don't take stars away for that. I'll rinse before wearing. The straps are adjustable. No bra is needed. I love mine and will find somewhere to wear it too. Although it stretches I think it's true to size. If you want it skin tight size down.
