based on the reviews I ordered a size up. All I can say is some people don't know their true size without stretch. These pants are nice and rune true to size. Im going to return for my usual 1x because the 2x is too big. The only problem is they stink like fish fresh out of the package. You may want to air them outdoors for a bit. Perhaps rub leather conditioner on them. Measurements: 5'7, 250, 1x, xl, curvy.
