I loved this skirt. I got a lot of compliments & felt great in it. I’m 5’5 241lbs. I usually purchase size 16 or 18 in fashion nova bottoms depending on how much stretch the item has (jeans). I get a 2x in their cargo pants because I have big thighs & their pant waist is somehow always a bit too tight. With this skirt, I decided on a 2x to ensure the waist fits and that I have enough fabric to cover my cheeks. There’s a lot of space between the top of the skirt and the pleats so it looks a bit undone to me, so I had to find the right placement on my body to sit the waist. The skirt did fit me with some space in the waist but had I gotten a 1X, it wouldn’t have zipped and it would have been too short. FYI, standing, the length was good, but when I sat down my ass was out. I find myself fixing the belly sometimes - it won’t stay how I place it but still satisfied.
