I loved this outfit, got it for going out in Houston. I wore it with Rick’s but debated heels..you can dress it up or down

These shorts run extremely short & I ripped the tag putting them on. So I assume I can’t return them. lol, i’m 5’5 165 gym thick, not sure why they don’t fit. Very disappointed, like someone else said I suppose you have to size up by 2
